Wellness, Love and 77 Years

As another weekend comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on something extraordinary. My in-laws celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary. I'll give you a minute to take that in. 77 years!
It made me think about legacy. About commitment. About what it truly means to build a life together through every season.
As I reflected on their marriage, I couldn’t help but think about my own—thirty years with my husband, Matt. Three decades of growth, change, challenges, laughter, raising daughters, building a loving home, and walking side by side through life.
And it reminded me of something I believe deeply; love is part of wellness.
Love is health.
Not just romantic love.
But steady love.
Family love.
Friendship love.
Pet love.
The love that shows up again and again.
We all talk about nutrition, movement, hormones, sleep and stress management.
All matter deeply.
But connection matters too.
Connection regulates the nervous system.
Connection lowers stress.
Connection strengthens resilience.
Research continues to show that strong relationships improve longevity, heart health, and overall, well‑being. But beyond the science—we feel it.
Love changes how we carry ourselves in the world.
It’s one of the reasons I named my business For the Love of Health.
Because the love of health is not built on restriction or perfection. It’s built on nourishment through whole foods, mindful movement, balanced hormones, supportive relationships, and self-compassion.
So, hold your people close and cherish the love that walks with you through every season.
And remember that wellness isn’t built on perfection — it’s built on what we nurture consistently.
For the Love of Health
